This is a very large scale mixed media painting inspired by fireworks over Edinburgh Castle. It was the title piece of my recent solo show by the same name. It is all about unbridled joy, exuberance and positivity.
It measures 60" x 60" (152 x 152 cm) and has been created on a deep profile gallery wrap linen canvas with robust stretcher bars. It features collage, texture and collage as well as 24 carat gold leaf highlights.
