COMMISSIONS
This painting was commissioned by a Canadian client who wanted to celebrate her family's origins in Goslar, Germany. The scale had to be in keeping with the proportions of the large fireplace above which it would hang. The subtle palette, rich in metalics, was inspired by various fabrics and accents that had been brought together by their interior designer. The overall feel of the painting was to be dreamy, relaxing and whimsical.
