This dreamscape is from a mini collection called 'Dream A Little Dream With Me'. These paintings are based on childhood memories of frequent trips from the city to the Ayrshire countryside and coast.
This particular painting describes the feeling as a child of being mid-journey; knowing the starting and end points well but feeling a pleasant disorientation in between.
