This painting was privately commissioned by a client wanting to commemorate her wonderful trip to Scotland. The brief was to bring together elements from both the 'Harbours & Havens' and 'Hootenanny' series and was inspired by Portree on the Isle of Skye. I was asked to use full on colour and not hold back.
