This large and very bold painting was commissioned by an adventurous couple to adorn their newly completed contemporary home. The scene was loosely inspired by the local coastal area and also the changing skies seen from my clients' deck which looks out to the Pacific ocean.
There is a great variety of texture created by layers of mixed media and the gold and copper leaf ocean and accents react and change with the light all day long.
